Ahok: Don't Rush to Operate New Scania Bus“Technically, the bus has met the requirement, as it has been used in several countries and have the same haulage specifications with the other articulated buses,” he said, Monday (8/10).
Nevertheless, his side remains to ask PT United Tractors as Agent of Brand Holder (APM) and karoseri Laksana which processes licensing and Scania bus development. This follows up the finding of irregularities on the sticker of road-worthiness test (KIR) against Transjakarta bus.
“In the data, the empty vehicle weight is 19.3 tons, while the Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) that reflects the bus weight with full of passengers is 26 tons,” he said.
Kosasih continued according to karoseri Laksana, the bus that supposed to transport passenger reaches 26 tons. If it is calculated, one person weight is 60 kilograms. It means, the bus could transport around 111 passengers.
“From the test registration letter (SRUT) received by karoseri Laksana, the empty bus weight is 19.6 tons and full passenger is 26 tons. So, it should be the same,” he explained
